Superior Concrete owns and operates its own Somero-240 Laser Screed which strikes off the concrete or "screeds" it to a certain elevation or grade with an actual laser. Utilizing the Somero-240, large, perfectly flat floors are attained at a rate of 5,000 square feet per hour. The use of the Laser Screed also vibrates or consolidates the concrete, which results in denser, more durable, and ultimately stronger flatwork. Superior Concrete also operates a Somero-3-D Profiler System on the 240 Laser Screed which facilitates placement of multi-dimensional concrete such as parking lots, loading dock areas, service ramps, and driveways, in a more practical and cost effective manner.
