Job consisted of 600,000 SF Distribution Center, with 142,000 SF of tilt wall panels. The panels were designed by our own alliance contractor, CONSTEEL ALLIANCE. The floor is a 7” fiber reinforced concrete floor over 4” of stone. All foundations are supported by 36” caissons drilled into shale stone below. The first floor pour was on May 21, 2007, and the last tilt panel was stood on August 2, 2007. Over 17,000 CYS of concrete placed in 11 weeks. Bob Foley, the president of CONSTEEL say’s it’s the best overall concrete tilt wall job he has seen in forty years. There is also approximately 112,000 SF of exterior paving, and 3,000 Lf of concrete ditch bottoms. |
