Job consisted of 600,000 SF Distribution Center, with 142,000 SF of tilt wall panels. The panels were designed by our own alliance contractor, CONSTEEL ALLIANCE. The floor is a 7” fiber reinforced concrete floor over 4” of stone. All foundations are supported by 36” caissons drilled into shale stone below. The first floor pour was on May 21, 2007, and the last tilt panel was stood on August 2, 2007. Over 17,000 CYS of concrete placed in 11 weeks. Bob Foley, the president of CONSTEEL say’s it’s the best overall concrete tilt wall job he has seen in forty years. There is also approximately 112,000 SF of exterior paving, and 3,000 Lf of concrete ditch bottoms. |

Job consisted of a 145,000 s.f. manufacturing warehouse complete with foundations, perimeter walls, and dock pits. Also included were three deep pits that averaged 16 feet deep and over 300 l.f. of cast-in-place conveyor tunnel to support press machines for the auto industry. A sheet piling and dewatering system was installed to dewater the pits during construction as the project was constructed in sandy soils with a water table at 7 feet below finished floor level. One year after completion of the original press building, Takenaka contacted Superior Concrete to install an additional 2,500 ton press pit. This pit was placed between two working presses. Again a sheet pile and dewatering system was installed to allow excavation to 22 feet below the existing floor. The new pit was tied into the existing tunnels seamlessly without disturbing FIA’s production. |

Project consisted of 600,000 s.f. of 6" slab on grade over 4" - #53 stone Warehouse floor, with 12,000 s.f. of office flooring and foundations with floors specified to maintain FF 45 or above. . All perimeter foundations, spread footings and 84 truck docks were also included. Also, Superior Concrete performed the place and finish of the approximately 200,000 s.f. of tilt wall construction. Total project concrete is over 20,000 cubic yards. Foundations were started July 6, 1999. Slabs were completed along with all foundations by the end of August 1999. Bristol Myers took occupancy by November 15, 1999 |

with F-numbers above 50 and 250,000 s.f. concrete parking lot. A
total of 8,000 cubic yards of concrete was placed. Also included
under our scope was the structural steel, roofing, electrical, plumbing,
HVAC and finishes for the offices. Superior performed as General
Contractor. Size of our scope was $2.5 million. |

Project consisted
of 4,300 s.f. basement with 14 foot tall poured walls, 30,000 s.f.
main floor, and 30,000 s.f. second floor. Second floor was heavily
reinforced with light weight concrete. Thirteen thousand s.f. of
sidewalk, 6,800 l.f. of poured curb, and a 75 foot long dock area
were also included. Some 153,000 lbs. of rebar was installed on
this project.
